Time to Pollinate!

A group of residents with an interest in developing pollination habitats is working to create the world’s first Pollinator Park at the Eastview landfill site. The Guelph Pollinator Park initiative intends to create a full lifecycle habitat to support native pollinators.

Volunteers are needed to assist with fundraising, public education and awareness of the need for pollinator habitat, research, design, planting, and stewardship.

Interested in volunteering?
A meeting is being held to organize the committees needed to make this park a success.

Thursday, July 3
7 to 9 p.m.
Evergreen Seniors Centre, Room 4
683 Woolwich St, Guelph

For more information

Councillor, Ward 2

Guelph, Ontario Green Drinks

Where: The Woolwich Arms (in the side room to the right),
            176 Woolwich St., Guelph
When: Beginning January 2008, Green Drinks Guelph will now be held on
the THIRD TUESDAY of each month. Mingling starts at 6:00
What: The Green Drinks recipe is: A jovial mix of environmental Guelphites
interested in the environment + a few pints = A relaxed and
agenda-free evening of enviro-meeting and greeting.

Our "inaugural" get together was in March 2006, and we've been going strong ever since!
